Eli is currently accepting new clients for individual counselling for various life challenges, including depression, anxiety, relational conflict, feeling lost or directionless in life, coping with stress or feeling overwhelmed, career or vocational issues, spiritual direction, family issues, and more.
Eli has specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which can help people assess thoughts and actions to determine where unhelpful patterns have developed and help them feel better. Such patterns can be difficult to change, especially when they are invisible to the sufferer. People are able to become more aware of these patterns in an accepting, caring environment with the help of someone like Eli who is trained to investigate for these patterns. Eli works together with his clients to suss out these inefficiencies and find effective ways to modify them to help them through their stuck points.
His training and experience have also uniquely situated him for counselling couples and he is currently taking clients at Sojourn who want to work on their relationship. Eli was born and raised in North Vancouver, which is where he and his wife have chosen to raise their three daughters. As an avid mountain biking and trail enthusiast, the North Shore mountains provide a convenient playground.
